Half of us will have DAB Radios by 2010

The Digital Radio Development Bureau has stated that by the end of 2007 21% of households will be listening to DAB. This works out to be around 6.6 million homes in the UK. Buy 2008 they believe it will be around 2008, in 2009 it will be 40% and by 2010 it will be half the population.

The two areas that they expect it to grow is mainly in the portable dab radios whilst there will be significant growth in DAB clock radios and DAB mobile phones.
