Take-up of digital radio rising

Latest research from the Digital Audience Research Tracker shows that 8 out of 10 people are now aware of digital radio. Now every month 35% of the population are exposed to Digital Radio with 11% of the population using DAB Radio. However, the vast majority of people used digital TV to access digital radio.

With the benefits of digital radio being greater information on the artist playing, the growth in DAB radio take up should continue to grow.

What a Christmas For The DAB Radio

We've seen news that in the UK alone and in the month of December 2005 just under 500,000 DAB Radios were sold! That's a staggering amount! If you look at the total figures, 2.7 DAB Radio sets have been sold.

Considering that many people went out and bought MP3 Players or have internet radio, this level of sales is simply astonishing.
